First Grade Newsletter–Week of January 28th–February 1st

My hopes for being beyond snow delays and closures were too soon spoken, it seems! Fingers crossed that we’re back to a more regular schedule soon. Thank you all for your patience with the crazy schedule lately!

Despite being interrupted by some snowy weather, Catholic Schools Week 2019 was a fun and joyful time to celebrate what makes Saint Ann School so unique–our faith, our tight community, and our school spirit. On Monday, the kiddos enjoyed some “student appreciation” with a special popcorn and cookie snack, extra recess, and a short VeggieTales video. Our Open Houses Sunday and Tuesday were a success with the students doing their best to articulate to guests why they love our school and to demonstrate the hard work, creative thinking, and excellent behavior that Saint Ann students show on a daily basis. The volleyball games were exciting as always–congratulations to first grade on their big win in Clean the Yard! Thanks to all the students and families who contributed to making this week successful!

Continue to keep our classmate Kaitlyn in your prayers! She is recovering well, according to her parents, but I know your prayers and well-wishes are aiding in her recovery.
