Saint Ann Catholic School

A National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence

Principal’s Welcome

Hello! My name is Anthony G. Sahadi and I am blessed and honored to serve my vocation as a Catholic school principal here at Saint Ann Catholic School.

This vocation stems from my upbringing with The Archdiocese of Detroit. I graduated from Detroit St. Matthew Grade School, Harper Woods Bishop Gallagher High School, and earned my Undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy.

For the past twenty-five years, I have served in the Archdioceses of Detroit and Washington, D.C. and now the Diocese of Arlington. During this time, I have spent nine years as a teacher and fourteen as a Catholic school principal.

Saint Ann Catholic School is blessed with faith-filled Catholic school teachers, staff, families, and students. Here, you will find a true Parish School: one where Church, family, and school work together so our students can cultivate their God-given talents and abilities as they develop a lifelong love of learning.

As our former principal, Ms. Mary Therrell, often said, “Our students are not only academically strong, but more importantly, kind to one another. They learn and practice dignity and grace while living their faith.” Please rest assured that her traditions continue.

Prospective families, please come join the tradition where our mission as a family is to believe, achieve and inspire through academic excellence that strengthens the whole child – body, mind and soul – while embracing Christ’s call to love and serve others.

Current families, thank you for entrusting your child here at Saint Ann. As we begin our 70th year, we continue to honor its rich tradition and history. As we look forward to the future, we rededicate ourselves to the ideals of Catholic education in the loving and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to reach their potential.

Thank you!

Respectfully, Anthony G. Sahadi
