Resource Teachers

Saint Ann Catholic School is committed to supporting the diverse learning needs of all students through our Teaching and Learning Center. This dedicated space is staffed by a qualified resource teacher who partners with students, families, and faculty to ensure that exceptional learners receive the guidance and support they need to thrive.

We provide compassionate assistance to parents and guardians who are considering an evaluation for a possible learning difference. To develop individualized Student Assistance Plans (SAP), we draw on a variety of tools and sources, including:

• Current IEPs or 504 Plans issued by a public school
• Assessments conducted by private providers
• Classroom observations
• Recent academic performance
• Parent and guardian input
• Whenever appropriate, we collaborate with public‐school case carriers to support continuity of care. Students may receive accommodations such as extended time on assessments or access to a distraction-free testing environment—always with the goal of helping each child reach their fullest potential.
